When the work needs a permit, you should not have to chase it. That is on us. Here is how it goes when we do a job in your town.

  • We pull the permit with your town for the work being done.
  • The work is done to the electrical code in effect here.
  • One of the town's approved inspectors signs it off, not just us.
  • You get the certificate for your file and for your insurance.

That last part is the one that matters. Unpermitted electrical work can be held against you after a fire, and it has to be disclosed when you sell. Done this way, it is clean and it is on record, so your coverage and your closing are not a problem later.
